Audition 7 - March 25: Dunedin
The NZNTM crew were excited to head down to Dunedin today not only to meet all the beautiful Otago girls but also because Colin Mathura-Jeffree joined us today.
Having Colin on the team revived our tired spirits and gave us a much needed energy boost. As we met him at the airport we were all bleary eyed from our early start and Colin, of course, was cutting a rather dashing figure by the baggage carousel.
When we got to the audition venue there was time to catch a quick bite to eat before we got started. Colin and Ange from The Edge nipped out for lunch and the lovely chap in the café ran them back to the venue afterwards as they were running late!
The Dunedin girls didn’t disappoint and arrived in their droves to the venue. There was an extra level of excitement when one of windows at the hotel smashed – the judges came rushing from their room to check that everyone was OK. Thankfully, there were no casualties and auditions soon got back underway.
The auditions went well and some strong applicants were selected for our shortlist – I wonder who will make it to our final 33 girls?
After auditions the crew headed into Dunedin for some dinner and guess who we ran into – Nellie and Elza! It was so lovely to see the girls and they looked fabulous.
