Auditions 1 & 2 - Auckland
It's been the moment thousands of girls around NZ have been waiting for and finally the wait is over. It's audition time and the first one kicked off in Auckland today!
By 9.30am the queue was massive and no doubt there would be tears before bedtime for some of the girls. As always the judges weren't disappointed.
The Auckland auditions were a HUGE success. We saw so many stunning and unique girls that it was hard to choose who would go through to the next stage. BUT - it is a competition - and you have to be FIERCE - so not all made the cut. 27 lucky hopefuls got the nod from the judges... and hey - it's all an experience - so even if they didn't get a yes - the judges made sure they left with some helpful feedback... and if you want it bad - don't give up!
Dozens of girls made the trip down from Whangarei and we had so many up from Hamilton that you’d think someone had put on free bus. ... or that Colin's ice-cream was being given away to the first 100 to audition!!!
Drew from C4 had a go auditioning but unfortunately he didn’t have what the judges were looking for. C'mon Drew - what's up with that??
Not to mention he didn’t even come close to the height requirements. Dude - it's 170cm or more. Get with the programme.
Next up we’ve got Christchurch and if last year is anything to go by, we’re expecting it to be a hot bed of some of the most gorgeous girls.
