Catherine Waller was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand with her American parents John and Wendy Waller, and two older sisters, Sarah and Amy.
She began dancing at a young age and at the age of ten was cast as the lead in a commercial after not having any experience auditioning before. She began to work more in National and International commercials, and continued to build up her skills in all genres of dance; Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Latin, Contemporary, and Musical Theatre. By the time she was 16 she had also featured in two New Zealand drama series' and was cast as a lead role in "Shortland St" playing Felecia Sheridan.
She was accepted into Toi Whakaari:New Zealand National Drama School at the age of 18 and graduated in 2011. During her three years there she learned she had a passion for Musical Theatre, Comedy and Physical Theatre. She learned circus and combat skills, choreographed her class's Cabaret, and devised and performed a solo in which she played 4 physically challenging 'bouffon' characters in a satanic carnival setting.
She now resides in Los Angeles, CA, where she has dreamed of working since she was 10.
