Chris Sisarich
Chris was born in Wellington and is one of New Zealand’s most successful photographers.
His career takes him all over the country as well as overseas to Australia, Asia, Europe, The Middle East and the USA. His clients include Tourism New Zealand, Air New Zealand, Tourism Egypt, Lexus, Subaru and Frito Lay.
Chris loves being out on location and lists his inspirations as film, other photographers’ work, art and music.
He loves a challenge and working as a collaborative member of a team.
Chris has lived in Fiji, London, Capetown and Sydney. He is now based in Auckland with his wife and two young daughters.
He enjoys surfing, snowboarding, taking pictures, good food, the beach, coffee, sunshine, summertime and mid-20th century design.
Recently Chris won one of just seven fine art citations at the PDN Curator Awards in New York. He was awarded the prize for a series of landscapes developed during a recent trip to the Middle East to shoot a campaign for Tourism Egypt. The photos appeared in PDN magazine and were shown at the prestigious Milk Studios in New York during their 2010 summer exhibition series.
