Cycle 2, Ep 2
Yusss! Episode 2. I’ve been talking about Top Model all week and could hardly wait.
This week’s show was even better than the first. It was good to finally get to know the girls and to check out the slamming pad they get to stay in. jealous!
After yet another high pitched scramble to check out the house (and rifle through their box of free Nivea products) the girls got their first “Tyra mail” opps I mean “Sara Mail”. I love this part, it’s always fun trying to work out what the cryptic messages mean.
The girls 1st challenge was to style each other in a Glassons outfit. To be fair they weren’t very good at this. The worst being twin one - Nelly, who styled Amelia and got told off for almost making fun of the clothes in front of the client. In an unexpected twist, twin two, Elza, won the challenge with the outfit she dressed Courtenay in. Could this be a sign that they aren’t as simaler as they look? Hmm.
It was then off to Tree Adventures for the girls to practice their poses hundreds (slight exaggeration there) of feet in the air!
Aafreen and Eva were my favs.. they already look like models. Estelle’s fear of heights got the better of her and well.. she didn’t do so good.
The next day it was photo shoot time and what do you know, the girls were suspended in the air. Rob Trathen (you may recognise him from another channels cooking show) is also one of NZ’s top photographers.. What a talented man. He shot the girls and did an amazing job. Danielle suppressed me with her uninterested attitude but still managed to take a great shot. Jamie looked like a possum stick in headlights and Estelle just didn’t know what to do with her body.
Aafreen, Lauren, Eva and the Twins were all pros and if today’s shoot is anything to by, I’m sure they will be around for a while yet.
Just before we get onto who went home (and for the record its not who I wanted), I want to know what’s with all the bagging on Amelia and Lauren??? It’s good to see some drama but from what we’ve seen they don’t look like they deserve it. Maybe more will be revealed next week?
At judging Jamie and Estelle were in the bottom two and Estelle went home. As I said earlier she’s not who I wanted to go.. sucks.
13 girls remain. Who will be no1? So many questions. Can’t wait! Bring on Friday already!!!
