For Cycle 3 we've got two bloggers sharing their thoughts on all things Top Model.

First up, 'Top Model Miss' has the inside goss on the happenings in the Top Model house, in production and in her head! Joining her to offer a 'Guy's Perspective', New Zealand's tallest comic satirist and resident 'The Jono Project' reporter Guy Williams also shares his musings on each episode.

At last, ep 3! Now we’re talking.. The show is really starting to heat up and the girls have finally realised that it’s a competition.

Things kicked off this week with Sara Mail (which was delivered on a giant Peg WTH?) and the girls were taken to a dance studio to be taught rhythm and movement by Colin MJ and Taane (remember him from the walking lesson in ep 1). The girls were put through their paces, having to twist and turn to different styles of dance from all around the world.

Amelia was my favourite and by the looks of things Colin likes her too, Jamie didn’t do so well and Dakota didn’t even try!

In Dakota’s own words “Did I sign up for New Zealand’s next dancer? No! I signed up for NZ’s Next Top Model.”

Back at the house the girls got more ‘Sara Mail’ telling them to pack their bags and to “get ready to roll.” Everyone got uber-excited thinking that they were heading overseas but then quickly realised that it was just a road trip … LOL.

In Rotorua, Chris Sisarich set the girls the challenge of posing inside a moving Zorb. This looked incredibly hard and I’m surprised anyone could even do it. In saying that, Lauren & Courtenay looked really good. Jamie was a mess and Lara was SO over the top.

Courtenay won the challenge and Eva and her got to have the most amazing massage treatment. I was jealous watching them and so were all the girls on the show.

Next it was photo shoot time! The girls were shot in a mud pool, covered in (cold) mud, wearing only nude undies and outrageous African style jewellery.

I thought Michaela took the best photo, Lara really surprised me with how good she looked and Holly broke down and cried about how cold it was - for the record it did look cold.

Jamie didn’t do so well (again) and Dakota looked like a Taniwha.

At elimination, Lauren looked like she had improved the most, both in her photographs and the way she carried herself, Danielle wowed everyone and Courtenay was so sweet that I’d let her through even if she took a bad photo ( which she didn’t).

Jamie and Dakota were in the bottom and predictably Jamie went home. I kinda guessed last week that she was on her way out. I’m not so sure who will go next though?

This Friday its makeover time. Will Lauren get her head shaved? Will we finally be able to tell the twins apart? Bring on the next episode already!!
