Dean Brettschneider is a professional baker and bakery entrepreneur. After completing his
apprenticeship in New Zealand, he worked in the US, Britain, Europe, Asia and the Middle East,
gaining experience in all areas of the baking world.
Today, Dean is regarded as one of the best bakers on the planet. Dean is now working from
Denmark, London and Singapore, but still visits New Zealand regularly throughout the year. He
has bakery interests globally and is the brains behind the very successful artisan bakery chain
Baker & Cook in Singapore.
Dean is due to release his 11th baking book this year and scheduled to debut his TV career in the
UK along with his bestselling book PIE.
