Dominic's Blog - Does Cece Deserve To Be There?

Cece

Well only a few more weeks to go till the big X Factor finale and we're now left with our top 6. It was the end of the road for two, with yet another double elimination, as the show said goodbye to Paige Thomas and Vino Alan. It could be a case of too little too late, as I think everyone really thought it was Paige's best performance so far on the show and Vino didn’t really deserve to be singing to survive either but its these surprises that make the show so unpredictable and watchable. The public however, certainly got it right with Carly Rose, for me, she is so far ahead of everyone else, I just hope someone else can stand up this week and make it a fair fight, right now in my opinion the other contestants are so far in her rear view mirror.

Maybe the furthest in the distance would be CeCe Frey. Does she deserve to be there based on her performances? I don’t think so but as Demi's last chance in the competition, she sure believes in her. But fans of the show are not as convinced, Demi took to her Twitter page to drum up support for CeCe, who was criticized badly again for her performance last week by Simon. One user of the social networking page tweeted the judge -"You're the trollest troll ever i'm gonna throw a pumpkin pie at you stop it." Despite the tweet not seeming to bother Demi, who retweeted it, CeCe also retweeted it with the message - "I love pumpkin pie. Throw 1 at me!". So, Cece to the rescue and it seems everyone loves drama, thanks to the retweets from Demi and Cece, they both have been trending worldwide over night. Will that coverage be enough for Cece to move up the leader board and most importantly, be there for next weeks Semi Finals though? Not long to wait to find out.

Demi Tweets

Traditionally we always head into the finale with 3 finalists but there have been so many double eliminations this season. It will be interesting to see if there is another one this week. Who stays, who goes and what has Simon got planned for the big X Factor finale? Well like everything he does, it will always be bigger than what’s come before, last year we saw Justin Bieber, Stevie Wonder, Leona Lewis, Pitbull, Ne-Yo and 50 Cent performed various songs with former contestants. How do you top that? If the rumors are true, I think we might just see a certain judge, who's celebrating her birthday this week, performing. First, the top 6 will battle it out to become semi-finalists! Its gonna be a good week.

No Real Surprises Here

The first act to be sent home saw the whole crowd booing and seemingly quite surprised, but at this stage of the game, seriously is anything really that much of a shocker?

They're Dropping Like Flies

There was a festive theme last week, as most Americans were celebrating Thanksgiving but there was nothing to celebrate for two acts, as there time on the show came to an end.

A Shock Double Elimination

It's been an eventful few weeks on the X Factor USA, with Simon Cowell mixing things up with a dizzying amount of changes to his beloved show and then of course the rather embarrassing voting graphics errors this time last week. Could there be anymore drama in store?

Dominic's Blog

That's Embarrasing!

For the first time in X Factor history thanks to a graphics error (sure someone got in trouble for this one), the wrong numbers were put up after each contestant, so none of the votes from America were counted and the pressure lifted as all the acts had a do-over episode, the following night.

The Competition Is About to Get Fierce

With the Boot Camp and Judge's Houses stages of the show cut in favor of the Four Chair Challenge, the contestants haven’t had a chance to hang out at and form strong friendships, so expect the competition to be even more fierce!
