' The Artist'
Originally from Cornwall in the UK, Mo studied medicine in both Oxford and London before coming to Australia in the summer of 2010. The move had been a plan of hers since she was 10 years old, when she used to watch Neighbours on TV and admire the Australian lifestyle. Now that she’s here, it has not disappointed. Despite growing up wanting to be an artist, Mo has found that working in emergency medicine has allowed her to be artistic in many other ways. Unlike many Emergency Departments in the UK, Mo finds that St. Vincent’s allows every doctor to be very hands on with their patients and have a wide range of responsibilities. Despite the fact that it’s chaotic, she enjoys the variety that emergency medicine brings, and can’t see herself doing anything else.
Everything I do is hands on. I wouldn’t change it for the world.
