Robyn Malcolm

Best known as Cheryl West in TV3's Outrageous Fortune, Robyn Malcolm has won virtually every award open to her including once again Best TV Actress at the Qantas Awards 08, from both the critics and fans alike. But she's been a success for a lot longer than that, starring in film, television and on the stage for 20 years, all the while raising two children and becoming politically active with the green movement.

Ewen Gilmour

Ewen “The Westie” Gilmour has been making Kiwi’s laugh for over 15 years and was recently recognised for this when he received the inaugural “Decade Achievement Award” at the 2010 NZ Comedy Guild Awards.

Since hitting the comedy circuit in 1995, Ewen quickly became one of New Zealand’s best stand-up comedy performers with a string of credits in television including Dancing With the Stars, Celebrity Treasure Island and Intrepid Journeys Peru. A past star of Pulp Comedy, Ewen is also a regular at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival and has performed on almost every televised Comedy Gala, in numerous TV3 AotearoHA series, and has appeared as a panelist on TV3’s 7 Days.

Oliver Driver

Best known for being as tall as he is funny, Oliver Driver first faced the nation by playing nurse Mike on long running soap Shortland Street. Since then he has gone on to appear in movies such as Snakeskin, Magik and Rose, Black Sheep and most recently the villain ‘Mr Wilberforce’ in locally made feature film Under The Mountain.

Driver also had a stint as artistic director of the Auckland Theatre Company, the host of Frontseat, as co-host of TV3's former breakfast show Sunrise.

Penny Ashton

Poet, actor and comedian, Penny Ashton has been performing for as long as she can remember. She has twice been nominated for the Billy T James Award and once for Best Female Comedienne and in 2003 she won a world Theatresports Championship title. A regular frequenter of busker, fringe and comedy festivals – both locally and internationally, Penny’s latest triumph was performing at the infamous Glastonbury Festival in 2010 then heading to the States to report from Miss Universe in Las Vegas. Off the back of her many adventures, Penny has a new show coming to Hamilton this year called Hot Pink Teeth 'n' Tits.
