Frank's breakfast food of choice making you hungry? Try this recipe on for size!


3 to 4 pounds pork or beef ribs
2/3 cup of beer
2/3 cup of brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons chilli powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
pinch of cayenne pepper
1 finely chopped bell pepper
1 tablespoon jalapeno
1 small finely chopped onion
1 tablespoon mustard


  • Saute peppers, garlic, onions in the butter until soft. Add the rest of the the ingredients and bring to a boil.

  • Place ribs in a large plastic bag or place in a large pan.

  • Cover with the marinade. Refrigerate overnight.

  • When ready, place on a hot preheated grill and close lid.

  • Keep checking every 10 minutes until the ribs have cooked through and soaked in the marinade.

  • Grill for around 25 to 35 minutes on each side.

  • Serve for breakfast.
