Ian Mune plays Mark on Sunny Skies, one-half of the troublesome two 'Mark and Matthew'. Both short in stature, Matthew and Mark like to watch the crazy antics of Sunny Skies unfold around them and think it's all terribly funny.
Ian Mune has an OBE in services to film and television, and has been working the industry for 40 years. His screen debut was on the 1971 series Pukemana, he co-wrote Goodbye Pork Pie and directed Came A Hot Friday.
Ian also directed What Becomes of the Broken Hearted and the recent teleseries Billy T - Te Movie.
He just moved back to NZ in order tell more of "our own stories", despite having the opportunity to the join the Royal Shakespeare Company in the UK.
He has just released his autobiography 'Mune - an Autobiography' about a Tauranga farm boy who fell in love with acting and gives an insight into the frustrating, painful, exhilarating and sometimes triumphant business in which he has played such a big part.
