Jon Bridges
Jon Bridges is a writer, producer and presenter who's been in New Zealand TV and media since before the turn of the century. Right now he's one of the producers of 7 Days, team leader on Would I Lie To You? and is writing a book on cycling for Penguin that will be out this Christmas.
After leaving Palmerston North Jon got straight into standup and tv comedy which lead to a long-running stint as presenter of TV3's youth cult youth show IceTV with Petra Bagust and Nathan Rarere. He wrote a couple of books and served four years as Channel Z Breakfast Radio host before becoming a TV producer. 7 Days has been his most successful production so far.
Jon was born in the USA, grew up in Wellington, Auckland and Palmerston North, has an MA in English literature and loves his wife Gemma and riding his bike. He and Gemma are building a house this year so if anyone has any free wood or pieces of stone or corrugated iron and stuff, please call him.
