When news broke of substandard French-made breast implants rupturing at an alarming rate, women in New Zealand were reassured they very likely had nothing to worry about. Worldwide, between three and four hundred thousand women in 65 countries have the PIP implants. However, Kiwi women were re-assured these implants were not used here. But it now turns out that is not the case at all. As Paula Penfold discovers, New Zealand women are in fact caught up in this massive health scandal. Watch this story now.
