Shannon Ryan
Shannon Ryan’s
career is going from strength to strength with presenting roles across both TV3
and FOUR. As co-host alongside Drew Neemia
on Drew and Shannon Live on FOUR and
a role as a satirical news anchor on The
Jono Project on TV3, it seems like audiences cannot get enough of Ryan’s
charismatic on-screen presence.
Having spent her
childhood growing up on a farm in Glorit (We have no idea either, so here's a google map) Shannon moved to Auckland to attend the NZ Radio Training School in 2007 and
was soon picked up by George FM as news reader on their breakfast show.
After joining C4 in 2010, Shannon
has hosted The Official NZ Top 40 as well as appeared on Select Live and Jono’s
New Show, but her biggest break was hosting the 2010 Vodafone New Zealand Music
Awards.
Shannon enjoys reading, writing, music and DJing in her spare time and has also
worked closely with the Royal New Zealand Blind Foundation to help promote
awareness of their work for New Zealanders affected by sight conditions.
