Rocked the Nation3: 100 NZ Sporting Moments is the third installment of the highly successful and critically acclaimed Rocked The Nation documentary series. With a focus on our rich sporting history, we celebrate NZ triumphs, remarkable feats and notorious moments.
Following the success of the previous Rocked the Nation documentary series, we take on the subject that takes pride of place in our nation - Sport.
Sporting culture lies deeply within the consciousness of every New Zealander. Whether you’re an avid player, supporter or observer – everyone has felt a swelling of pride or sometimes disappointment at one time or another after a NZ sporting event.
With a fresh take on how we approach sport, Rocked the Nation 3 is an engaging and entertaining human interest series. We explore our greats; mainstream or obscure, remarkable or notorious and spark opinions and debate on what our top moments in sport might be as we count down to the all important number 1 moment.
WHAT IS A “MOMENT”?
The show is about “moments” so we will be looking at a specific event that deserves to be ranked in the Top 100, across a large variety of sports. In some cases this may be the pinnacle of an athlete / teams career and from that point we will explore all their other achievements that see them deserving of a place on the list.
The “moment” would also be able to include an extended period, for example The Invincibles All Black team toured the UK in 1924/25 and won every single game.
