Farmer Stephen is the 27 year old son of Gavin. He is a quietly charming and despite the tough exterior, would love to find love. Steven is a great listener, adventurous and most importantly, enjoys a laugh. He is looking for a girl who can keep up with him.
Both Steven and his father work on their sugar cane property from July to December. During the off season Steven works at a nearby prawn factory, where he spends half the day swimming amongst the prawns (and eating a few on the side too!).
With both Gavin and Steven confessing that they are lonely without love, they are jointly ready to bring a woman or two in their lives. And are seeing it as a bit of healthy father/son competition too!
Farm as a character:
Their farm is located smack bang in the middle of the Gold Coast and Brisbane. It's a lush sugar cane/soya bean 200 acre farm and the sugar cane operation runs from July to December. There also have another sugarcane farm nearby that's 600 acres.
