The Voice of Lisa Simpson is coming to New Zealand to meet their fanbase.
FOUR is hugely excited to announce that Yeardley Smith, who plays Lisa Simpson on The Simpsons is headlining the Special Guest list at this year’s Armageddon Expo.
The first Armageddon Expos will be held in Hamilton and Wellington and includes appearances of stars from other other TV shows and movies too.
The Hamilton expo will be held on May 25th and 26th at the Claudelands Arena; Wellington will be on Queens Birthday 1st – 3rd June and Auckland information is still to follow.
Yeardley Smith has been the voice actor for Lisa Simpson for over 22 years since the show began in 1989. As a child she was often mocked for her unusual voice. But after studying drama she realized she could use this to her advantage.
David Giuntoli got into acting via a reality show that gave him a three month adventure in the South Pacific. He has appeared in Nip/Tuck. Veronica Mars, Grey’s Anatomy, Without a Trace and more. Grimm is his biggest role to date.
Special events at each Armageddon Expo remain, including eating challenges, Kamehameha Contest, Cosplay, anime screenings, celebrity panels and much much more.
