Emblem3 didn't make it to The X Factor finals, but the overwhelming response from fans has landed them a major record deal.
The Huntington Beach-based trio have now signed to Simon Cowell's label, Syco Music via Columbia Records. Acting as the group's mentor during the competition, Cowell made no secret of his interest in signing Emblem3, whatever the show's outcome.
The boys are already in the studio collaborating with a number of big name artists and writers including Jack Antonoff (fun.), Joel and Benji Madden (Good Charlotte), Rami Yocoub (One Dirction, Nicki Minaj) and Pater Svensson (The Cardigans). The project is being executive produced by Savan Kotecha, who has previously worked with One Direction, Maroon 5 and Usher.
Wesley Stromberg, Keaton Stomberg and Drew Chadwick are excited to begin work on their debut album, due for release later this year.
"With our new teammates at Columbia and Syco and along with Savan, I hope we can not only produce some empowering tunes but also impact other people in a positive way and maybe help brighten things up a bit," says Wesley. "Music is all we've ever wanted to do -- and this is what we love to do."
