Tate Stevens debuted his first music video during the 55th Grammy Awards telecast on Sunday night.
A clip from Holler If You're With Me premiered as part of a paid slot for Pepsi, major sponsor of The X Factor USA. The video placement was part of the grand prize package which also included a $5 million recording contract with Syco Music/RCA Nashville.
Staying true to the sound which won him millions of fans during the competition, Tate's first single is a fast-paced, feel good country song about having a good time. Tate describes Holler If You're With Me as a feel good anthem song.
"Having chased this dream for nearly a decade, I was certainly familiar with the concept of a music video, but I had no idea what to expect," he says of the shoot in Simi Valley, Calif. "In spite of the 50 mph winds, everyone on the set had a great time. It’s a party song and so it was only fitting that we threw a party."
