The homeless guy described a slim man with a neck tattoo who was there the night that Rose diet. The photo on Rose’s phone shows that he was also at the Bayside Bar – the last place the she was seen alive.
The man with the neck tattoo pays a visit to the bike shop. He seems to know Grant. Coincidence?
The man with the neck tattoo is Karl Villiers, a member of a biker gang and not a nice person by all accounts. He knows Helen, a partner at M&L, from her days working as a criminal attorney. Could she have hired him to off Rose?
Karl is more than a little threatening when Grant suggests he might have had something to do with Rose's death. He wouldn't be so worried if he had nothing to hide....
Karl owns Apartment 101 and was there the night one of the escorts, Cartier, was killed. He must have been involved in the cover up. Did he somehow find out that Rose had the DVD of the murder? Maybe he killer her to make sure she didn't talk to the police.
It is looking more and more like Karl is the killer. He covered up Cartier's murder - her body was buried at his house. He came after Hannah as well after 'something' was apparently stolen from him. He must be talking about the DVD. If he had the DVD originally then he had to have seen Rose the night of the murder. Did he kill her to tie up loose ends?
There's no doubt that Karl is not a good guy to be associated with, but it wasn't him that killed Rose. He was there the night of her death. She had been messing in his business, convincing Hannah and the rest of the girls to go out on their own. He was following her with the intention of roughing her up a bit but ended up loosing her in the bar. All along it seemed like he was trying to cover up the murder but he didn't even know that Rose had the DVD.
