Charlie’s father is in hospital – he was beaten up in jail and now he’s in a coma! As expected Charlie isn’t taking it well and he seems to think it’s somehow Peterson’s fault, that his father took the fall for something that Peterson and all the old boys were involved in. Is he just looking for someone to blame or is Peterson really involved?
For some reason Helen is at Charlie’s house when Jane goes over. She says she is a family friend and "alerts" Jane to the drug issues. Seems odd that she’s there – Helen isn’t exactly the most friendly and comforting person. Maybe she is just trying to get Jane away from the whole situation. Maybe there is some connection between Charlie, Helen and Carl….
Peterson’s party is a veritable who’s who of Auckland – judges, lawyers, CEO’s and a few hookers to keep the boys entertained. One of the escorts is Hannah, girl who knew Rose and used to work out of Apartment 101. Carl Villiers owns that apartment and evidently used to take a cut of the money which the girls made. Hannah says that one of the girls working for Villiers was murdered….a second victim! Cartier was choked to death by Keith Cranston – another of Peterson’s “friends”. Hannah made a copy of the security tape that showed the murder. She was scared to go to the police so she gave the DVD to Rose. This must be why Rose was killed. Someone found that that she had the footage and they killer her to keep it quiet. She must have made a copy though – everyone knows that you have to make a copy of incriminating video!
