The Truth About Charlie - 11/03

The blue rose case notes

Ganesh is able to get Rose’s cell phone working and her call log shows that on the night of her murder Rose received a text and a call from Charlie. At 9.40pm he text to ask where she was and Rose replied that she was at Bayside Bar and they agreed to meet there. Then Charlie called Rose again at 9.45pm. Did he go to meet her or was he calling because he couldn’t find her? He could be the last person to have spoken to her before she died. He could be the man in the suit that David was talking about!

Rose’s call log also showed a call from Simon at 9.17am the morning after her death. He left a message asking her to call him back. He wouldn’t have called her if he already knew she was dead would he?

The police reports and witness statements show that Charlie did tell all of this to the police – he didn’t try to hide anything. He does also seem to have really liked Rose. He says that she was too good for Simon and too smart to be a PA. It looks like the office charmer does have a secret though – a nasty drug habit. P can make people to crazy things! He could have been high and killed Rose or maybe he needed money and was trying to convince her to cut him in on some of the cash that she was dishing out to Lancaster Investors.

The night Rose died there was some kind of fashion launch party on at Bayside Bar. She took a photo on her phone with up and coming model/actress Nikki Knight. In the background of the photo there is some guy – a man with a neck tattoo! This is the man that David was talking about. Maybe Rose suspected that he was following her and that’s why she took the photo. She doesn’t really seem like the time to want to take a bunch of snaps with faux celebs and party girls.
